Parmesan-Poppy Seed Broccoli

As requested, here is the recipe for Parmesan-poppy seed broccoli

2-3 cups fresh broccoli florets
3 T unsalted butter, melted
1 t poppy seeds
1/4 t paprika
1/4 t salt
1/2 t pepper
parmesan cheese to taste (1/3 c)

Steam broccoli. Cook until tender but still firm, about 6 minutes; drain. Meanwhile, stir together the melted butter, poppy seeds, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss the broccoli with the butter sauce. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese to serve.

Be sure to make this right before you serve it because it cools quickly. If your broccoli is in danger of getting chilly, put it in the oven. It survives well at 350 degrees for up to 20 minutes. Also, the quantities of the spices are on the low side so feel free to adjust as needed.
