4 Month Check Up

I can't believe that Joe is already 4 months old.  It seems like it just yesterday that Carl and I brought him home from the hospital.  I promise to write more about Joe and his awesomeness tomorrow.

He's huge! 

And a super happy child.

Dear friends,

If you have called, e-mailed, sent a letter, or tried to communicate with me in any way,shape, or form in the last 4 months...sorry.  I was(and still am) in the post-baby haze and I can't seem to get anything done.  I am still struggling, in fact, to make dinner most days but then I have always struggled with getting dinner on the table.  Bottom line-I am almost back to normal and I promise to be a better friend.  Thanks for your patience!

Green Smoothie Redux

I attempted to make a green smoothie again the other day and the results were much better. Here's the evidence:

Thomas the Train

Max loves Thomas the train. The first thing he says when he wakes up in the morning is "Choo choo."  We watch a lot  of Thomas during the day which would be fine if I could understand what those stinking trains were saying.  Max will only watch his dvds in French.  If I put it in English or Spanish, he hands me the remote or cries until the change is made.  I think this indicates refined tastes and preferences while Carl maintains that he is just bored and is trying to find a way to make Thomas more interesting.  I am sticking with my theory for the time being.
